New Generation: Month of Photography Teen Show 2027
In conjunction with the Denver Month of Photography (MOP), the Colorado Art Awards invites Colorado high school photography students to enter a juried exhibit. The exhibit will be hosted by The City of Lakewood Cultural Center. Awards will be given.

Teen MOP 2027 is just around the corner! We will open the submission window on November 2nd, but look below for overall information of the show:
November 2 - Submission Window opens (Google Form)
Dec. 4 - Submission Closes
Week of December 14 - Results Released
Jan 22-24 - Drop of selected work at Mile High Framing
Jan 30 - Mar 15 - Exhibition at Lakewood Cultural Art Center
Feb 16 - Evening Reception
Mar 19-21 - Pick up artwork at Mile High Framing
GUIDELINES

Any student in the Colorado is eligible to participate, however, the physical work must be delivered to and picked up from Mile High Framing

Students may submit 1 image for consideration

There is no fee to submit

Students may not submit the same image to Scholastic Art Awards

Awards will be given, but TBA on prizes

If chosen, overall mat size must not exceed 16" x 20" and be matted to allow for command strips

Images must be appropriate for display (nothing insensitive or overly violent, no nudity, etc.)

AI created images are not allowed (minor non-generative edits are ok)
