Currently, Pam is the assistant director of Next Gallery in the 40 West art district. Even though she has taught most art mediums, mosaic is the one that she is passionate about. Her mosaics are in 2 types: narrative and historical. Pam travels all over the world including some interesting places like Mongolia, Egypt and Morocco.
Sharon Rouse has dedicated her life to art education and supporting young artists. Over her 25-year teaching career in both public and private schools, she taught visual arts to students in grades K–12 and regularly submitted student work to the Scholastic Art Awards, championing creative expression in the classroom. After retiring, she continued shaping the next generation of educators by supervising student art teachers at Metropolitan State University for five years. Sharon holds degrees from the University of Colorado and the University of Northern Colorado. A passionate museum educator, she has volunteered at the Denver Art Museum for over 44 years as a docent, where she continues to lead tours, develop programming, and facilitate teacher workshops for audiences of all ages. Her commitment to youth in the arts also includes more than 30 years of involvement with the Scholastic Art Awards—first as a teacher submitting student work and now as a longtime volunteer with the Colorado Art Awards as the Exhibition Coordinator. Known for her joyful spirit, deep commitment to the arts, and lasting impact on Colorado’s art education community, Sharon remains a beloved figure and inspiring advocate for creativity in education.
